2023 Paintings

In 2023 the theme I chose for my Art Board was “The relationship between beliefs” or “Beliefs vs Biology” where I tackled the contrasting ideas of beliefs/religions and the theory of Evolution. Two different sets of beliefs which always seem to be at war with each other. I chose to portray this theme using bright colors and biblical iconography and human and their ancestors anatomy as well as some biological symbols

This body of work achieved excellence when marked at the end of the year.

Animation Explanations

1. INVADER! Animation Meme

In this animation I explored the animation technique of tweening! This was a personal project featuring one of my original characters to a song that fits her lore and story well.

2. Short Pony Jump Practice

This animation was done frame by frame. This was done to try out a new animation program and to challenge myself to do a pose to pose animation.

3. Less than 3 Animation Meme

This animation was done using tweening in Alight Motion as a gift for someone.

4. Unfinished Absolute Territory Animation

This Animation is part of a personal project I am currently working on. This is only part of that project. This animation uses frame by frame animation.

5. Visual Effects University Project

This project was done for my Visual Effects course where I used the program Houdini VFX to create this simulation utilizing the shatter effect, billowing smoke effect, and glue to hold the concrete barriers together before the collision. I also utilized the lighting tools. I sourced the 3D models online.

6. Kyu-Kararin Animation Meme

This animation was done as a small project to pass time and doesn’t feature any frame to frame animation or tweening. I was mostly trying to work on my timing with this project.

7. Making Christmas Scene Reimagining Animatic University Project

This animatic was made for my “visualization for media production” course where I had to reimagine a scene from “The Nightmare Before Christmas” I had to use a different camera position and film technique for each scene, and include a character I had made earlier in the Semester.
